A USDA Certified Organic Energy Product That Tastes Great? Yup.

Nobody at Mini-Green wants to give up their cup of coffee in the morning. The coffee we serve in house is Community Coffee from New Orleans and heaven help anyone who tries to abscond with it. And that first cup of coffee not only tastes great but gives each of us an energy boost in the A.M. But I don't want to drink cup after cup of coffee all day long. And most other ways you get caffeine either taste bad (be honest, most energy products at best taste sort of bad in an unidentifiable way) or they are bad for you. It is the rare person who survives a lifetime like Warren Buffet who purportedly drinks 5 cans of Coke a day (and, hey, we love Mr. Buffet). Seriously, look online for the other interesting uses for Coke and then think about what it is doing to your insides. Cleans blood from clothes. Helps loosen a rusty bolt. Defrosts a frozen windshield. I've got a confession...Mini-Green does none of those things. Take a look at the ingredients in the products you use to just start you when you're feelings tired.

So the idea of a USDA Certified Organic, zero calories energy product seemed like a tall order when we set out to create it almost 4 years ago. But we would not offer Mini-Green to people until we had an organic product that also tasted great. Since people often use more than one pouch over the course of a workout, long ride, tennis match, round of golf, or a day of skiing, we wanted a product where the flavors were clean and fresh without being overwhelmingly sweet.
